Travel Information

As a CCIC Finalist, your team is required to attend the Innovation Challenge Boot Camp to be held June 9-12, 2025, at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Washington, D.C.  Detailed travel information on hotel accommodations, how to arrange for airfare, travel expense reimbursements, and other travel logistics was emailed to all finalist team members in late April.   • Exploring DC:
    • The Royal Sonesta is located in the Dupont Circle Neighborhood of Washington, DC. To learn more about DC, click here.
    • One of the best ways to explore DC is to use the Washington Metrorail System (WMATA). WMATA has recently introduced the Tap. Ride. Go. Program. This program allows riders to use their credit/debit card at faregates instead of purchasing a SmarTrip card. Visit wmata.com to learn more.
